Lock Scan Area

This feature is used to lock scanned areas, preventing later changes or interference from affecting scan accuracy.

For example, in preparation areas, the margin line is often affected by gingiva or blood. You can temporarily expose the margin line using a retraction cord and clear away any blood or fluid. Once the margin line is successfully scanned, lock the area to prevent it from being overwritten by subsequent data.
